We are pleased to advise the the Rochdale Building Schools for the Future (BSF) team have achieved another milestone in the project timetable with four bidding consortia having been long listed to be taken forward to the next stage of the procurement process - the Invitation to Participate in Dialogue (ITPD).
The four consortia are as follows:-
- Aura Learning Communities - Consortium led by construction company Sir Robert McAlpine
- Emeye Rochdale Limited - Consotrium led by Mr Charles McLeod MBE, comprising construction company Willmott Dixon
- Galliford Try Construction - Consortium led by Galliford Try Construction Limited
- Inspired Spaces Limited - Consortium led by construction company Carillion
Over the next 6-8 months, these consortia will be putting together detailed tender proposals for the authority's BSF programme, including details of their preferred supply chain to deliver the contract. Please bear in mind that only one of the consortia listed above can be successful in winning the BSF contract.The final decision on the preferred consortium will not be made until July 2009.
